The cutting tools handcrafted for us there are mostly fitted with handle scales made from natural materials, such as staghorn and Mediterranean woods (e.g., olive wood), and occasionally from resilient synthetic materials. Steel types are selected according to the intended purpose of each specific knife. The PUMA IP catamount II olive model is an agile, easy-to-handle hunting knife featuring a DIN 1.4125 steel blade and Mediterranean olive wood handle scales.
