The KM 1000 blade has serrations on one cutting edge. Maintenance free ergonomically designed black all weather handle grip to MIL specification. Glass fiber reinforced Polyamide insulated handle is designed to withstand a surge of no less than 1000 volts.
Exposed tang at handle end for glass breaking. All metals are corrosion resistant according to U.S. MIL-STD-171 Salt Spray (Fog) test. MIL spec – 40°C to + 80°C operating temperatures.
