The “Robuster” is designed for significant tasks in the wilderness. It is one of the best knives for a variety of tasks, functioning well as a camp knife and as a tool for processing game. The ergonomic handle makes this blade easy and secure to handle.

With the design of this knife, a synthesis of traditional Asian and European forms was achieved, with technical results from personal experience. The Robuster combines history, elegance, and utility. Anything that hampers performance, such as long-term dullness, a guard, or an unwieldy handle, has been avoided to create a work knife with exceptional utility. The elegant appearance is based on harmonious lines and proportional features of the handle and the knife blade. The stylistic foundation of the handle was adopted from a proven European sabre handle from the early 19th century, promising a secure grip even in challenging applications. Unlike typical knife handles, the rear circumference of this handle is significantly smaller, allowing the shorter ring and pinky fingers to fully grasp the handle. The curved shape of the handle and the resulting hook effect provide relief during slicing and chopping. During a powerful knife thrust, the thumb and index finger experience the same relief since the curve of the handle fits securely in the palm. The thumb rest at the end of the handle, dictated by its shape, ergonomically supports the “reverse grip.” The lower guard provides ample hand protection, and the classic double guard has been omitted to allow the thumb enough space to reach the thumb rest unhindered. The sum of these characteristics and the charm of a historical era make this knife handle unique. The blade features a widening at the front, a distinctive feature known as the Bolo tip. The overall length is 320 mm (approximately 12.6 inches), the blade length is 195 mm (approximately 7.7 inches), and it is 5 mm (approximately 0.2 inches) thick. The Robuster is crafted from the proven Böhler N690 stainless steel, known for its durability and ease of sharpening. The handle scales are made from walnut wood, and the knife weighs 335 grams (approximately 11.8 ounces). The Robuster comes with a variably wearable leather sheath. Marked with a continuous serial number, we commit ourselves to “Made in Solingen” and the high standards of our customers.
