Puma Dagga Boy Knife Buffalo Horn

The PUMA dagga boy is a heavy, robust, and yet elegantly shaped hunting knife that isn’t afraid to take on any task.

Hunting knives need to offer strong stability. This principle has been fully realized in the PUMA dagga boy. The result is a heavy-duty hunting all-rounder with a strong flat-ground blade and a full tang that runs through the entire handle, fitted with voluminous buffalo horn scales. A solid nickel silver guard protects the hand. Thanks to these features, the dagga boy is perfectly suited for tougher cutting tasks and will never let its owner down — no matter the situation.

A further highlight of this buffalo version is the beautiful laser engraving on the blade. Each knife is individually numbered, with the numbers assigned in the order of purchase. Therefore, selecting a specific number is not possible.

The Name: What Is a “Dagga Boy”?

“Dagga Boy” is a term used primarily in African safari contexts to refer to an old, solitary male buffalo. The word dagga comes from Zulu and means “mud,” referring to these buffaloes’ preference for wallowing in muddy waters to protect themselves from insects. Dagga boys are known for being unpredictable and dangerous — a powerful name for a strong hunting knife!
