Puma “Knife Of The Year 2023” Walnut Limited Edition
Knife lovers and collectors appreciate not only PUMAs modern cutting tools but also the reissues of models from past decades. Therefore, PUMA has selected a very special and rare knife as this year’s annual knife for collectors and enthusiasts of handmade PUMA knives. Its production period dates back more than fifty years: the “Kappmesser Flughafenfeuerwehr BUND” (airport fire department chopping knife). This knife was based on the legendary “PUMA 6390 Automesser” but instead of a chopping edge, it had a pronounced, highly effective hook on the back of the blade. PUMA’s limited edition annual knife for 2023 also has this feature. The rust-free blade is forged in one piece from DIN 1.4109 (X70CrMo15) steel and is 155 mm long, 5 mm thick, and has a hardness of 55-57 HRC. The handle is made of elegant and sturdy walnut wood, and the knife comes with a certificate and a custom-fit leather sheath in a beautiful wooden gift box.
