Puma Cougar Wood Knife
The Puma Cougar Wood Knife is a real designer piece that looks just as good in action as it does in the collector’s showcase – made by PUMA Solingen.
The Cougar model was designed by Richard Hehn, one of the most renowned knife makers in Germany. For decades in the PUMA program, it has not lost its myth to this day.
The blade is made of stainless steel DIN 1.4112 and hardened to up to 57 HRC.
The construction of the knife is a special feature as well: the blade and the one-piece handle, which is manufactured using the steel precision casting process, are separate elements that are connected to one another in a special process. For this purpose, the blade has a short flat tang, which is taken up by the handle through an opening and firmly riveted there. The two-sided riveting point is then provided with a polished steel cap that bears the company logo, the well-known rhombus with the head of the Puma.
