Puma “Skinner” Hunting Knife Pakkawood
The “skinner” model is a specialized knife in a classic form that was developed in the second half of the last century and has not lost any of its popularity – from PUMA Solingen.
The tip of the skinner blade, typical for skinning, lies slightly above the back of the blade in this Solingen classic. As a result, the cutting edge becomes very round in the front and lengthens. This has the advantage that much longer cuts can be made and the repeated setting of the knife is reduced. Since the tip of the blade is very high up, the risk of accidentally stabbing into the precious fur is significantly minimized. On the continuous tang, warp-free pakkawood scales and a reliable aluminum finger guard are mounted.
